PETA BUTA see the video

Peta buta is an improvisation based on several material such as; mantra, chant, gesture of percussion from several timbre. This music performed at Menggelanggang Project 2010 (Menggelanggang project is an artist residency, contemporary composition, music technology, performance and education project taking place during July/August 2010 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The project is a collaboration between Melbourne-based composer and sound artist Tristan Coleman and Art MusicToday, Yogyakarta’s leading new music and composition collective). Text in this piece was taken from well known writer Sindunata's poem “Air Kata – kata" (spittle).
